Real Transfer, Inc. (“RTI” or “We”) respects and appreciates the trust the public (“customer”, “you” or “your”) has placed in us by becoming a customer. That confidence will not be compromised by the sharing of your personal, non-public information with our affiliates, non-affiliates, or outside marketers. We recognize our obligation to keep information about customers secure and confidential. This Privacy Policy applies to RTI and its web site (i.e. www.realtransfer.com, herein referred to as the “Site”) and is effective as of January 1, 2012.
"Personal Information" refers to information such as name and email that can be used to identify an individual. You should read this Privacy Policy in its entirety. Certain sections may apply differently to residents of different jurisdictions.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by means of a notice on the RTI Site prior to the change becoming effective. WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES REAL TRANSFER, INC. COLLECT?
We collect information about you to help serve your money transfer needs, provide customer service, and fulfill various legal and regulatory requirements. We collect the information from transaction forms as well as other forms. This information may include your name, address, phone number, passport number or driver’s license number and Social Security Number or TIN, along with information about your transfer.
HOW DOES REAL TRANSFER, INC. SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?
RTI does not sell lists of customer information, nor do we disclose customer information to marketing companies, with the exception of companies we may hire to provide specific services for us. We do not disclose any of the information described above to anyone, except as provided by law. Specifically, RTI may share non-public personal information with our affiliates in the course of processing transactions or to inform you of services that we believe may be of interest to you. Additionally, we may share non-public personal information with service providers such as banks and other transfer agents.
In all cases, your personal information is strictly protected. These third parties are bound by law and/or contract to use information only for the services for which we hired them, and are not permitted to share this information for any other purpose. This policy applies to current and former customers.
YOUR RIGHT TO OPT OUT
RTI does not sell or distribute non-public information to third parties, except as provided above. If, in the future, our policies were to change, you would be notified by a posting of that change in our branches/agent locations and provided an opportunity to opt out of our disclosure of that information.
HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?
RTI maintains strict internal security measures. We restrict access to your personal and transaction information to those employees who need to know that information. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with industry standards to guard non-public information. |
